Windows Update

To receive software updates from Microsoft for your machine,we use an internal system called Windows Server Update Services. This process is unnoticable to you, and will have no effect on your daily usage.

When your computer is either downloading or has downloaded an update(s) you will see the yellow shield icon in your system tray:

You may recognize this icon from your home computer, please just ignore it.

We would like you to install the updates a certain way, and is not intrusive or complicated to do. At the end of the day when you shut your computer down, if you have an update available to install you will see this in your Shut Down window:

Make sure that option is highlighted, click "OK" and the computer will install all the available updates automatically, and then shutdown automatically when it finishes.
