This article will explain how to update the phone number used by ParentSquare to contact you during a notification from the school.
Parents
Parents can edit their phone number in Final Forms. This is located on the left forms menu. Look for the Contact Information tab. Edit the Parent/Guardian #1 and/or the Parent/Guardian #2 phone numbers. These will then be synced by the building offices to Powerschool. Powerschool syncs its information to ParentSquare nightly.
Staff
You can check your number in ParentSquare by clicking on your name in the upper right corner, then choose “manage account. Do NOT use the edit account to change your phone number. It will change back during the nightly sync from PowerSchool. Phone numbers will need to be changed in PowerSchool directly. Please contact your building office, or put in a help ticket to have the number changed in Powerschools.
Text Start
If your phone number is correct, but you are still not getting messages, you may have to allow text and notifications from ParentSquare. This can be done by texting start to 66458. This will allow your cell phone to receive these messages
